  • 1.  Pharmacist nPEP?

    Greetings!
I'm wondering if any pharmacists are providing nPEP, perhaps through a collaborative practice agreement? If so, I would love to get more information on what you're doing.

I'd also appreciate hearing about this type of program if you know of any.

    Thank you!

at my practice site, I see patients for both pep and prep under a CPA.  In NYS, they must be managed for that issue by one of our medical providers so in essence I cannot see patients who are new to the practice but can see them for the follow ups.  Our gov also expanded PEP to be available for a 7 day 'starter' pack at community pharmacies with linkage to care for the remainder of the PEP course so our on site pharmacy provides PEP 24/7 and then links the patients back to clinic for continued care.

feel free to email me (adanforth@trilliumhealth.org) if you need more info!
