The Academy is always looking to prepare educational materials and accredited continuing education activities to meet our providers' needs. What topics do you want us to consider for future accredited CE activities?

In addition, what accredited continuing education materials do you need to care for your patients?

I have been using these Self-Collection placards/handouts with patients, but perhaps an AAHIVM produced materials/posters would be helpful.

I second this Kurtis. I am trying to push this in my area and having some official backing would help.

There is a severe education and knowledge deficit in medical and advanced practice nursing training surrounding crystal methamphetamine use, latest epidemiology, and approaches to care/harm reduction, or outpatient treatment for primary care/HIV providers. I think updated education offerings on this topic and "chemsex" are in great need, now more than ever.

I would be interested in frailty in the HIVs elderly population. Especially hitting on issues with drug resistance and cachexia. These are issues I come across occasionally. The patient has multiple co-morbidities, sees multiple providers, and there are issues with drug compatibiltiy mutation and cachexia which make managing their HIV a challenge.
