Professional Bio

​Amanda Binkley, PharmD, AAHIVP is currently a Infectious Diseases Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. She earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree at Philadelphia College of Pharmacy. After graduation, she went on to complete her PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice residency and PGY-2 Infectious Diseases residency at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Her interests within infectious diseases include antimicrobial stewardship, HIV and Hepatitis C therapy.

Current areas of practice include antimicrobial stewardship, inpatient Infectious Diseases consult service, Infectious Diseases Transitions in Care, and HIV and Hepatitis C ambulatory care. Dr. Binkley is a member of the Society of Infectious Diseases Pharmacists (SIDP), American Academy of HIV Medicine (AAHIVM), and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases (AASLD). Her research experiences include access to Hepatitis C therapy, medication errors associated with antiretroviral therapy, antimicrobial stewardship interventions and utilization of clinical decision support tools for antimicrobial prescribing.
