But for others who may be in a similar situation, the best way to identify a mentor is by using the Mentoring Directory under the Mentoring tab on this site. The directory is only available once you have completed an application to be a Mentee.
As the mentee, it is your responsibility to use the directory and identify mentors that you would want to work with. Towards the top of the page will be some suggestions of mentors. These suggestions are based off your responses in the Mentee Application, so I recommend checking those out first as they tend to be good matches. You can use the search tool below to try to identify a mentor as well. With that, I recommend only using one or two criteria to search for, and leave the rest blank. That will make sure you get some results.
