I have been a nurse practitioner since 2010. I started out working in women's health, then broadened to primary care. I completed a Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2015 and my capstone project was PrEP implementation at a network of STD clinics across the state of Massachusetts. Now I work in an Infectious Disease practice affiliated with a rural community hospital in Maine. I have regularly cared for 100+ patients with HIV over the past 7 years. In past positions, I founded a low-barrier telehealth Hepatitis C clinic serving participants at the local syringe service program, and added HIV, PrEP, HCV and addiction treatment services in a low barrier clinic serving primarily homeless clients. I enjoy mentoring NPs interested in the world of Infectious Disease and precepting NP students.
