  • 1.  Help for Burnout

    Posted 10-13-2022 12:08
Burnout has been a big issue among HIV health care providers especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.  As an HIV specialist, I have also struggled with stress, anxiety, depression, and burnout.  I have been practicing Kelee meditation, a brief 5-minute meditation performed twice daily for almost 17 years now, which has been extremely helpful in managing stress in both my personal and professional life.  I have also been teaching this form of meditation at the UCSD School of Medicine in an Elective Class to medical and pharmacy students, as well as Internal Medicine Residents, and Infectious Diseases Fellows.  We are planning to have an upcoming Kelee Medicine Workshop on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 8:30am to 3:15pm Pacific Time.  This Workshop is CME-accredited and will offer 5 CME units for attendees.  If you are interested in checking this out, please go to https://thekelee.org/kelee-medicine-workshop/.  Thanks for your interest and feel free to contact me here or email me at dalee@health.ucsd.edu.  Thanks.
